Minority Innovation Weekend (MIW) was launched to provide innovators of color with knowledge to launch science and technology startups and to attract capital providers to those startup businesses. This effort is designed to foster an environment to assist innovators of color launch and grow science & tech focused startups that have the potential to have sustainable economic impact. NSBE-BMAC, the non-profit organization that launched MIW is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. All contributions to the NSBE-BMAC in support of MIW are tax deductible.
